Q: Why DNSPod?

Q: The modification of DNS will affect or even interrupt the procedure of name resolution?

A: It will not affect this procedure as long as you keep the records in DNSPod the same with those in your former DNS hosting server.

Q: Can DNSPod resolve my special TLD?

A: You don't have to bother because DNSPod can resolve all the existing TLD no matter how special it is.

Q: What if regional DNS is not accurate?

A: DNSPod judges the visitors' area through their DNS. If the visitors' DNS is not their local one, we strongly suggest them change the DNS to their local one.

Q: How quick does my modified DNS update?

A: After modified your DNS, you have to wait for no more than 72 hours, it means that you have to wait till your DNS updates on global DNS servers.

Q: Will it update in real time when modifying my record in DNSPod?

A: So far, DNS updates in real time in DNSPod (no matter for free users or VIP users). If you want your modified records take effect soon, you can change your TTL from 600 (default) to 300. Well, we strongly recommend your TTL is not less than 300, otherwise your websites will be unstable.
